AIWork Backup

Encrypted cloud backup and recovery.

AIWork Backup privacy policy

Effective date: 2026-10-24

AIWork Backup provides encrypted backup and recovery for selected files. It is intended for individual use, not as a public file-hosting service.

Data access and purpose

The application requests Google Drive’s drive.file permission to create, list, read, update, and delete backup files that it creates, and to access files explicitly authorized for it. This access supports backup, integrity checking, recovery, and retention management. It does not request access to all files in the Drive account.

Storage and protection

Backup content and backup metadata are encrypted before transfer to Google Drive. Google may process storage-level information, including object sizes and transfer times. Recovery credentials are kept separately from the cloud backup.

Sharing and use

Encrypted backup data is transferred to Google Drive. This application does not operate a separate service that collects users’ backups. Google processes data under its applicable terms and privacy policy. Google user data is used only to provide and maintain backup and recovery functionality. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.

AIWork Backup’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Backup versions remain until removed under the selected retention settings or deleted by the user. Retention cleanup can permanently remove older backup data. Google Drive’s trash and storage-retention behavior may affect when deleted objects are permanently removed.

User control

Users can stop backups, delete stored backup data, and revoke the application’s access through Google Account settings. Revoking authorization does not itself delete existing backups. Other saved copies and credentials must be removed separately if desired.

For questions or requests, use the support contact provided on the application’s Google authorization screen. This policy will be updated if the application’s data handling changes.
